WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26 – A veritable who’s who of Stratford music legends assemble to play some jazz standards that everyone will love!
The Jazz Hounds is an assortment of career musicians who perform in a variety of musical ensembles, notably as members of the Stratford Festival Orchestra. People may also know these players as members of Larry’s Jazz Guys who have played shows for the Monday Night music series in the lobby of the Festival Theatre, as well as appearing regularly at the Jazz Room in Kitchener and the Registry Theatre jazz series. In addition to their busy playing careers they are also instructors at some of Ontario’s top music schools.
The Jazz Hounds feature Paul Shilton on keys, Dave Thompson on guitar, Mike McClennan on the bass, and Dave Campion on drums.
